Luana meet “Scary” Mary Perkins at the Super X event held in Hamilton last night. She was New Zealand’s top freestyle motocross rider until she broke both legs and dislocated an ankle in a crash December last year.

She holds the Guiness World Record for the largest jump by a woman and voted the world’s best female freestyle motocross rider.

Huntly Motorcycle Club hosted the event

Luana competed in Round 1 of the Bel Ray series held at Huntly Motorcycle Club on the 1^st Nov 09.

She was in the Seniors and Pros class of 152 riders (only five of them were ladies!). There was some challenging terrain with fast riders coming through. There was loads of prizes and everyone who entered received Bel Ray product.

Round 2 will be later this month.
